Just finished our wedding with Martin and his team. I must say, I'm pretty impress with how they work. At first, I was shopping around and calling different people about their photography/videography services and Martin was the only one that called back within minutes after I left a voicemail. Then carpooled to S.F. embarcadero, s.f. city hall, outside of the Japanese Tea Garden and then inside for more shots. Then to the S.F. Bay bridge lookout and to Bakers Beach. Finally to the Legion of Honor. Began at 9am , ended at 10pm. Martin brought a popup tent so I changed in that! I gad 6 outfits while my hubby had 5. At first when my wife and I were budgetting for our wedding it was scary to see that a good portion of the budget was going towards the film, but his services are not limited to just the filmography and photography. Over the span of several months he was very professional, realistic, and communicative. He helped organize a good chunk of the wedding. As my wife and I decided to go ahead and do a big wedding with the family, we knew that hiring a great videographer would be very important. We didn't want to plan our special day without having it forever documented so we can relive it over and over. So with that said, the task of seeking out a quality videographer team in the bay area proved to become a journey. Quality. Flexibility. Fun. We found out about the Cine Crown crew at our very first bridal show in Natomas. Martin brought his HD screen and showed the most gorgeous HD videos - so vibrant, colorful, and most importantly, fun. Their videos have so much energy and life and it captures a lot of the magic of the celebration. I didn't think much about it for a while, assuming that it was going to cost way too much money or that I wouldn't even watch the video. But then any other bridal show we went to didn't have anything even close to the quality of Cine Crown. Maybe it was because their screen wasn't HD, but that's just it. Even for the bridal shows, Cine Crown goes above and beyond by bringing the HD screens and even the camera man to film the event, so you get a feel of it all. They do quality, quality work, not just because of the equipment they use, but also in the way they treat their clients. It's always a personal experience; they cater to you. I saw them again at another bridal show, and entered their raffle (as all brides should with any vendor!) and I started to get more and more interested in them, but was still worried about the price, so I told myself that if I won the raffle, I'd do it. I even went to their open house, which was a really fun event. It was great meeting some other vendors and brides-to-be. I left disappointed, because I didn't win the raffle that night. And I started to accept the fact that I'd just have a still camera set up somewhere to capture the raw footage. But then a few days later, I get an email saying that I won the raffle that I signed up for at the bridal show (see, you should definitely enter the raffles!!!) and I was floored! I made an appointment quickly, met with Martin, and booked him for my wedding. Afterwards, I was actually a bit more nervous, because it was another thing I had to take care of, but Martin made it really easy. He works with your schedule and tries to help coordinate a lot of it for you. For example, he'll contact your bridesmaids and groomsmen so that you don't need to be the middleman and he communicates directly with them for the little stuff and to gather ideas. You end up meeting with him multiple times so that there is an understanding of what they'll do. When I brought my mom, aunties, and sister, they all had a great time meeting Martin, watching his gorgeous videos, and chatting. Martin is very flexible with meeting times and makes each meeting fun. And that's ultimately what it's all about. If it's not fun, why bother doing it. For my wedding, I didn't do anything if it was too stressful. I didn't do seating arrangements, cuz that was just way too stressful (my guests also didn't rsvp in time!) and I didn't do a limo because people were coming from so many different locations. The Cine Crown crew makes the process fun. They show up early, well dressed and spiffy, and do their thing. They barely bother you, and you can hardly tell they're even there. Some of the shots made me think really hard about where they were that day. They make it fun, but remain respectful. They know that there are certain places you can't go in a Church and when to maintain distance. And then they know when to bust out a break dance battle so that they get great footage of the groom. They'll stay and party with you for a bit and help make your event incredibly enjoyable. In 2 weeks, he was done with the editing of our short film. I was out of town, so I didn't see it till a month later, but they can do the editing super fast, even same day stuff. I opted for the split coverage and location changes. Their packages and add-ons are reasonable, considering that you're getting super high quality work, flexible/accommodating service, and a super fun experience. David was the head of the three man team for my wedding and showed up early and stayed late to make sure everything was captured just the way he wanted it. He and his team spent a lot of time with me at my motel while I was getting ready. They had some fun ideas of ways to pose and what to do to add to our video to make it perfect. It also allowed my photographer to get some fun poses too. Once at our ceremony they were able to be apart of everything but not really be noticed by myself or my husband while it was going on. Some of the guys we interviewed talked about setting up tripods that seemed to be too noticeable. We booked the short film from them which ended up being almost 10 minutes long which was a bonus. Originally when we met with them and decided to go with them to do our wedding Martin had said it could take up to 3 months before we got our finished product. Less than a month after our wedding our video was ready to be shared and posted to our loved ones as well as the pick up the complimentary the flash drive. My school organization, ADEA (American Dental Education Association), needed a large high resolution banner. I was referred to Martin Vo and I told him "I need this ASAP". Martin found a high resolution template and combined "ADEA" with "New York University" within the hour. I placed my order with him and received the banner, 4' x 6', within a week. The material was of high quality, you can tell by the thickness and texture. The banner itself looked wonderful, glossy and crisp. I have not hired Martin as a photographer but based off this experience, I'm highly considering it.
