What a amazing long term stay! The room was well equipped, a/c worked great, a lot of great choices of food and entertainment within walking distance. But, really the main reason for the five stars is the Hotel Staff. I see the night staff every "early morning" and the day staff everyday. They are always happy to assist me with whatever question or need I have. And truly seem to always have a smile. I'm so impressed with them it makes up for the hot summer weather and travels that take me away from my family. I stay in a lot of hotels 150+ a year. And this one helps make a home away from home! Nice clean rooms. Free breakfast and during the week free dinner with beer and soda. They have contract with Gold's gym to go for free. Staff is really nice.

I stay at 150+ Marriott brands per year. I can be critical of them. This is one of the best renovated properties I’ve stayed in. Rooms, restaurant, and the Marriott lounge are all very nice and the gym was top notch. The evening crew in the Marriott lounge was a little lackluster and I didn’t see any food left out (I might have been late) but later I didn’t see much left later for dessert besides a jar of cookies. However, the morning crew made up for it with their exceptional customer service and the breakfast was great.

Such an odd hotel. Great location but terrible restaurant that is very strangely placed. Fantastic staff and a beautiful well appointed room. And very scary, slow elevators. I don't enjoy hotels so I might not be the best advisor on this. Do I feel safe if I'm alone? Is the parking easy, safe and well lit? Do they offer valet? I like trustable in-room coffee and a comfy bed and linens...like we all do...and quiet and a view...and a great bathroom not too ramped up with the horrible ugly-lights that amplify your every flaw (seriously...are hotel chains owned by plastic surgeons?). So...overall...just dandy.

Nice hotel in middle of downtown. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. The fitness center is huge and well equipped. The executive lounge is spacious and has great snacks throughout the day.

Quiet and very comfortable. Loved the walk-in shower: tub sized without the tub. Buffet breakfast scrambled eggs were really good, real eggs, and the crispy bacon was as described and excellent. Too busy working to partake of other amenities, but it was excellent for my needs! I'd stay here again.

As usual Marriott has a great staff that was very friendly and helpful. From providing dinner recommendations to daily greetings I think they really go above and beyond. The hotel was very clean. I had a balcony suite which was very comfortable. I would have loved to use the balcony more but people who like to smoke did so right by the front door. The bed was comfortable. My biggest complaint with this and all courtyards is that they do not include even just very generic coffee in the mornings with the hotel cost. The cafe that they have is fine but the food is uninspired and always seems prepackaged and microwaved. All in all a great place to stay.

Great staff, the ding to three stars is due to the condition of the hotel. The facilities maintenance has been largely ignored. The hotel is clean and the cleaning staff does a great job, but don't look too closely at the building.

Cannot begin to express how fantastic TownePlace Suites was. From the moment of arrival to the moment we left, we were completely pleased. Outstanding customer service that went above and beyond to accommodate our family's needs during our two day stay. We booked the 2 bedroom suite with built-in kitchen and separate living room. The suite was spacious and very clean. Bedrooms were fully equipped next to each other with individual doors for privacy. Our pets felt right at home on the spacious living area and we had no issues when we had to step out of the room and leave them behind. The property is peaceful and the pool area looked relaxing though we did not get an opportunity to use it. Hallways were quiet and we had no noise disturbance during our stay. Staff is courteous, graceful, and respectful.

Excellent location. Hidden gem from the city of the Stockton. Excellent customer service. Pleasant and modern looking rooms. Plenty of suites and studios to choose from. Prices are more steep than other hotels but it's worth every dollar. Free breakfast, parking and wifi. You usually have to pay extra at other hotels at this level. 5 stars.

Nice, clean hotel. Very friendly team behind the counter and housekeeping. Rooms were impeccably clean and bistro prepared some really nice food with great service! Also a nice patio and pool area. I would recommend this hotel for anyone in the area staying for business or personal.

My room wasn't ready when I arrived, but I was offered a beverage from the market while I waited. The rooms are spacious and the area is very quiet. Late check-out was requested and honored. Very nice staff. Get to the breakfast early, the serving trays don't keep the heat and the food was cold by 9:15 on Sunday
