I was in town for business and this hotel exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The room was giant and quiet. I got good sleep and work done. The staff was friendly and immediately resolved an issue I was having with the TV. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed here while in town for business- very nice hotel! Room was very spacious and while checking in the staff was very friendly and accommodating as well as knowledgeable of what is close by. The building is very old but well restored and kept up. Walking through the halls you could see/feel the history of the building. The brick walls add a very nostalgic touch and the pictures of what the building was previously fill the lobby. The location is perfect for anywhere you would need to get and is within walking distance of good restaurants. The breakfast buffet is very good and there was also a wedding going on during my stay. Many modern hotels can't find the ambiance of an older hotel like this one. This place does it well and at times while you are exploring you can forget how old the building is, but feel the history. AMAZING PLACE!! Can't wait to go back.

I was skeptical about staying here instead of one of the national chains. I am so glad I did. I was originally booked in a standard double room but it had hardwood floors and I needed to have carpet floors. They upgraded my reservation with no problem as there was a room available. The single queen suite is very cozy and lovely. The exposed brick wall and wood beams made this feel like a special hideaway from the rest of the world. There had been a snow and ice event so outside was crazy cold, but my room very cozy and quiet. I did not hear any noise from any other room or persons on my floor. No doors slamming or walking. The bed was perfect and the bathroom fantastically large. They have a courtyard in the center of their property which had lights around the trees that only added to the charm, romance, and beauty of this place. I will stay here again. This really is a great places to stay. The staff is ultra friendly and accomodating.

Historic Inn with modern accommodations. Comfortable beds, charming rooms and guest areas. Friendly staff. Great place for work retreats, for smaller groups. Nice meeting facilities. Cotton Gin Lounge is nice, great Italian restaurant across the street. Check out at noon, which is great!
