This was really a beautiful area and worth the walk downtown. Two things though, it's difficult to navigate where to go and what's available. Better or more signs would be helpful. Also, given that you walk a lot here I only saw 1 water fountain that was out in direct sun and did not work. It would have been nice to have another one.

Between the Crystal Bridge, and the multiple "family friendly" fun things the garden hosts, (pumpkinville and arts festival for example) there is always something appropriately fun to do. A place to learn and grow (pun intended) and just have a good time. Not to mention the city does a great job with overall maintenance. Everything is clean and trim and just collectively beautiful.

This place was great! I applied for the membership online, and that did take time. Had to come in and download app to retrieve member card, and that too took time. The ladies at the desk were super helpful, and provided a map. Be prepared to feed the ducks/birds, walk and take pictures. Super great for my kiddos!

Beautiful well maintained gardens, you can tell that the staff really cares about the plants and gardens. Outdoor area is completely accessible and full of areas to sit and enjoy the view. Lots of nice waterfalls make it very relaxing and mask the sound of traffic. Inside is extremely clean and meticulously cared for. Many interesting plants with markers describing origins and characteristics. More waterfalls inside as well as bridges, ponds and small seating areas. I would definitely recommend this to tourists and locals.

Beautiful grounds! Was able to hold off until a cooler day and went early. Took in the outside gardens only. Lady at the desk said the glass bridge has tropical plants, we'll come back this winter for that. The parking lot across the street was closed. We could park along the street and pay at a kiosk.

We rented the children's area pavilion today for my son's first birthday and it was perfect! We could not be more pleased with everything! The kids had such a blast playing in the park and the water area as well! This has always been my favorite part of downtown and now I love it even more!

We had a celebration dinner here for a large group of 50. The room we had was nice and open with a nice bar area and seating areas. The bar tending service was quick and responsive to our requests. The drawbacks were the catered food was below par and the speakers were definitely not good for speeches and karaoke. Bottom line..great ambience for a get together but there could be upgraded to the food and the sound system

Great place to hang out. Super concerts in the summer under the stars. So nice to be outdoors laying in the grass! Something I don't do often enough!

Great experience in the park. Hours of fun for the kids in the water features and children's garden. Lots of beautiful flowers outside and awesome architecture to be seen in the design of the greenhouse. I did not have time to go inside this time, but looks extensive, will be sure to visit inside soon.

Great family fun! Park across the street 10$ parking, adults are 8$ for the indoor garden and everything outside is usually free, unless a event (that's why I only give 4/5). Love to take the kids to see the fishes underneath! They love it great for Saturday afternoons.

We walked through here while checking out the downtown area. We didn’t get to go to any of the inside areas as it was late afternoon on a Saturday. I did like the layout of the gardens and the water features. There were lots of people out and about and even saw some bridal/wedding portraits being done. The paths we walked were shaded so it was no as hot. This is a great place come to avoid the hustle and bustle of down town, but still be very close.

Lovely for walks as well as a great place to take the kids. Our children enjoy the splash pads and the children's garden. They have great programs there in the summer, as well as theater and dancing. We're not members and haven't even been inside the conservatory and we still love this place. Update: we went to the Christmas light show and we enjoyed it. I don't know that admission to the conservatory alone would be worth the membership, but if you're able to take advantage of all the programs it would be worth it.

I feel kind of dumb, because I always thought that the botanical garden was just the general area in downtown okc with flowers and everything. But no, there's actually a specific place that's the botanical garden, and I'm glad I finally realized that and was able to visit!! It's a REALLY cool place. It's like you're stepping into a jungle in some tropical place (and, it FEELS tropical too- it's pretty warm inside!), while in reality you're still in the middle of the city. It's so pretty too!!! There are tons of varieties of plants and flowers, and you may even run into some little animals too. There's also stuff like waterfalls/ little rivers too that just add even more to the tropical vibe! The layout also makes it fun. There are different levels, different platforms, seating so you can admire where you are, and even a fun bridge to cross up in the air!!! The bridge was definitely one of my favorite parts, by the way. I'm not necessarily the type of person who is regularly interested with gardens/ flowers and things, but I remember being impressed by how pretty the flowers inside were. Some just had gorgeous colors, especially some of the ones that were more than one color in one! If I were more of a gardener I might be able to tell you some of the flowers that are there... but I'm not. What I do know though is that botanical gardens are used to help conserve and research different plant species, so my guess would be that the stuff inside is slightly less common, which is cool! Definitely a great place in OKC that's something fun to do but also good for the environment and educational too! What more could you want? And it's great for once the weather gets warmer (aka: right now!!!) so if you're ever in OKC or have some free time, I'd recommend checking it out for sure :)

I probably shouldn't admit it took me almost 3 years to get into the Crystal Bridge, but here we are. I've been to the gardens many times. I used to work downtown, and would walk them on my lunch break. I've also come to dozens of their summer Sunday concerts, which are one of my favorite things about OKC summers. In my former job, I worked at several of their family-focused events, including Pumpkinville. Their events are always extremely well-run, and the staff is incredible. I finally went into the Crystal Bridge recently, and it was amazing. Not only is it a neat space, but it is chock full of plants. Note, for those who have never been into a botanical garden, it is HOT. Be aware. There were many people taking photos. So many beautiful plants, flowers, trees. It is clearly well-maintained, and overall, well worth the cost of a ticket.

The botanical garden was pretty small? I guess because it is still winter there wasn't much to see. Not sure. The small bit was beautiful, but I was there for about an hour. I can tell it's much better in the warmer weather.

I have been here on multiple occasions and it's great every time! My nieces are from out of state and I took them here this past Summer as a little adventure for them and they had a blast! Although I wouldn't 100% recommend going on a 100 degree day in the Summer as it's very humid it was still a lot of fun! The visit that stood out the most to me was attending the Northern Lights event they did this Christmas! It was completely gorgeous and the weather was more suited to my liking. If you have little ones, there is a great park area just outside the myriad complete with a carousel. Would definitely recommend a visit!

I had heard lots of positive reviews of the gardens, so I visited while my family was in town. The exterior grounds are beautiful and free to walk around. There is a neat little park for families and a dog release area as well. Part of the reason for the four stars is because the ladies room was an absolute mess. One toilet was constantly flushing, paper all over the floors and NO TOILET PAPER in any of the stalls. I had to go back up and get my husband to go into the men's room to snag some toilet paper. I told the girl at the desk, who said she would let someone know. I never did see anyone go fill it. There was a lot of detail, which I appreciated. The waterfall is really pretty and the little birds were cute. I was a tad disappointed with the foliage, though. I realize it's not exactly the right time of year for blooms, but it seemed as though they weren't keeping up all that well with dead leaves, etc. I will definitely be back for a visit when more plants are in bloom. I hope that it's better then.

I'd seen this on TripAdvisor as one of the best places in OKC to visit. It's right on the edge of Bricktown, near the arena and the edge of downtown. What my wife and I hadn't counted on was just how desolate some of the outside would be given the cold weather. Even when we get cold snaps in Houston, they don't last long and don't have nearly as bad an impact on plant life. They had done an impressive job of keeping it looking as pretty as they could, but most of the plant life was understandably dead. The conservatory area is all indoors and requires a ticket, but is well worth it. The climate controlled cylindrical space maintains a tropical temperature and sustains a lot of plant life that you'd never be able to otherwise sustain in OKC. You've got everything from cacti to agave to various trees (mango, banana, cacao, lipstick, cinnamon) growing in various parts, with plentiful labels to identify each plant and signage to point out some of the more interesting aspects of each one. This place (including the outside) is probably a five star experience during the late spring, summer, and fall when everything is in bloom.

So glad I made it to the last night of the Illuminations event! It was beautiful and magical and we will definitely make this a new holiday family tradition. The music and light show was relaxing and everyone really seemed to be enjoying themselves. This is such a fantastic idea for winter time in the gardens!

It was beautiful, I love to go here and see what plants can grow in the Oklahoma City area. It turns out there's great diversity of what thrives here! And it's amazing what plants can do to change the feel of an environment. My favorite part of the garden is the forested area with the small creek running through it, you won't think you're in the middle of the city!

We went here for Pumpkinville and adored it so much! It was a rainy day but, they still had just about everything set up. There was so much to do. The decorations were amazing. They really did a good job at setting that up. The carousel was so cute! It was the right size. I was amazed at how many pumpkins there were. They were all over. The playground area had so many different things to explore. They had a lighthouse, a maze, witches tunnel, hocus pocus area, cranberry bogs, a maze, broom ball, apple tossing, ring toss on the candy corn, a food truck, face painting, pumpkin painting, pumpkin patch and the adorable carousel. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We love the botanical gardens area. I think this will becoming a yearly thing we will participate in with the kids. Ha! I would even go as an adult.

I visit the garden pretty frequently and October is my favorite time of the year because they have pumpkinville. There's always an event going on whether it's a 5k run/walk or the ice skating rink during the winter months. This place is lovely and definitely worth checking out.

What a beautiful place!! If you are in the OKC area I would definitely recommend going to this hidden gem. We found this place after walking around one day after lunch right after we landed in the city. We were so glad we did! It has such beautiful flowers and even some wild animals inside. The grounds around it are also very pretty including a pond, butterfly area, and we even spotted turtles (see pics)! Just know if you are going in the summertime that it is v hot inside (they are tropical plants and need warmth).

Beautiful place. It's so serene and green. It was well worth the $8 i spent to get inside the conservatory. All outside landscaping is free to enjoy. I can't pick between the outdoor elements vs the garden of lush vegetation in the conservatory. They have things for all age groups to enjoy and even included some bonus species inside the conservatory . I recommend checking it out.

Picnics all summer 2k18. I really enjoyed the Myriad Botanical Gardens & will be bringing my Hipster friends with me to soak in some good vibes. Let me start with the inside Conservatory. First of all it cost $8 a person to get in. Totally worth it. But you can also get a membership for $60 a year, & bring 8 people with you for free every time you come. What a great deal. When you enter the conservatory it feels like you've walk into a real rainforest. So dress accordingly. It's hot. But once you adjust, you want to breath deeply because of all the oxygen the plants are giving off.l all around you. It is literally a breath of fresh air. There are waterfalls & tropical plants on one side, and a desert plants on the other of this huge cylindrical building. It is definitely a sight to behold. They also have some animals indigenous to those climates there for people to observe, like a poison dart frog & tarantulas. After you leave the conservatory there is a huge park to walk through with beautiful plants and a pond with ducks, fish, & turtles cohabitating. Walking up the stairs there are sitting areas and water sculptures to enjoy a beautiful day at. There is plenty of grass for a picnic or throw a football in. Most def a cool place to be this summer.

This review is difficult for me to write. Here's the thing - it's honestly not much past a 2 for me, but I can't rate conservatories low, unless there's something glaringly wrong with them. It's quite unfair to compare this to other conservatories I've been to - but here we go: Pros: - Both the outside garden area and the indoor area were not crowded. Very easy to walk through. - They have a Titan Arum!! - Expansive outdoor area - Staff member I interacted with was friendly Cons: - SO MUCH dead foliage that needs to be cleaned up and trimmed from the plants... - Plants are not clearly marked, and many are out of place/unclear because the plant has overgrown - The "Scent Sational" plants - while this is half a good idea, it needs to be executed better. ALL plants that had these signs in front of them were very damaged. - They have gem plants here (like the Titan Arum), but oddly enough, there was no information about this plant except the binomial nomenclature. (Who the heck is going to know that, besides fellow plant and Latin enthusiasts like myself?!) A picture aid showing people the amazing lifecycle of this plant should be in place - even I almost walked by it without noticing what it was. I'm guessing this place is underfunded. It's very obvious to me that there are not enough caretakers for these plants. I'm very shocked about the Titan Arum (I know I just said this, but look it up yourself! There are very few that exist in public displays in the States!) This is the least kept conservatory I've ever been to. I'm really hoping that this place becomes better in the future. Truly many treasured specimens in this place - but they need to be taken care of much better.

This place is absolutely fantastic! We came on a March morning expecting flowers-a-bloomin' and it was! A variety of tulips were in every direction. The freshest flowers in every shade possible surrounded my view. I couldn't smell any of it since it was so cold when I was there, but wish I were able to inhale the fragrance scent of all the flowers. I'd imagine that they rotate the variety of flowers planted too, so I can't wait to visit again *A little warning--upon entering the restroom that morning, I did come across a homeless person. While it didn't bother me so much, it would be good to be prepared.

I love beautiful and maintained parks in cities. It really adds character and a place for the community to celebrate and enjoy their city. Even during winter, it was a great stroll after exploring downtown OKC. Very neatly maintained and clean. The landscaping is phenomenal and I spotted multiple photographers doing photoshoots at several spots. I came too late to go into the indoor botanical gardens, but just walking around the park is fantastic in itself. Exploring through OKC, this is one of the highlights and I would recommend coming here to enjoy the outdoor space.

I visited around the 4th of July, and parking wasn't an issue. It was a pretty hot day out, and the climate control of the gardens was more than welcome! The gardens were beautiful, of course, with many different species of plants to look at. The architecture was probably my favorite part. The cylindrical building lends a fun feeling to the experience and is certainly eye-catching. It almost felt as if I were in space, like an episode of Doctor Who, where scientists were preserving "ancient" Earth plants. Or maybe that's my overactive imagination! The gardens are clearly a popular spot for weddings, and there was one we had to pussyfoot around during our visit (only outdoors). It was fun to watch the fish in the ponds, though the water is quite murky. I feel like the ponds could use a bit of renovating to make them more appealing to look at. There are plenty of places to lounge and read a book, I noticed. And that you can do for free! There are some parrots in the gardens as well. They were not very talkative when I went, but it's always nice to appreciate their beauty. I definitely recommend visiting the gardens if you're in OKC. It's a nice change from the concrete jungle that cities can often blur into. And your money will go toward the conservation of all the lovely plants. :)
